There was a lot of first time on this trip! It was my first time visiting Bahrain. The best part was I am flying business class for the first time ever and … this is even better! I only paid SGD400 (2 ways), all thanks to the community that shares this Gulfair error fare – I might blog about my experience someday

I am only in Bahrain for 16hrs and arriving past midnight. I have been looking for the best option (pocket-friendly and maybe if I can stretch for some perks?), hotel accommodation isn’t cheap and I am not interested to pay over SGD$100 for a short stay. I waited and… it paid off! Accor ran a flash sale and it covers the Middle East!

Arrival

Uber is available at Bahrain Airport arrival, they have since allowed it so you no longer have to walk out. I have no issue booking a ride past midnight and it’s safe

I am so glad that ibis Style Manama met my request for past midnight check-in and a late 3 pm check out

I was so jetlag, I visited one of the hottest months and it was almost 47℃, the air conditioning in the room was so good and kept me cool. The service was fabulous, thank you!
