Here is Part 2/4 of my “hotel hopping” adventure to earn these bonus points! I will be skipping HGI KL Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman North room tour. I have written up on HGI South earlier, you can take a look! so you know I have earned 2655 Hilton Points for that stay and only paid USD29 a night. Sweet!

Arrival

A short walking distance from Ampang and Sri Petaling Line Titiwangsa Station. I saw a lot of mixed reviews online and I have to experience it myself. Friendly staff and got check-in quickly. This is not to sound entitled but would like to point out that there was no acknowledgement of my Gold status and any room upgrade but my late check-out request was granted immediately.

Thoughts

It’s run down and feels boring but it’s comfortable nonetheless. There are a fitness centre and outdoor pool if you like to take advantage of that. Well… I got lazy and didn’t take any photos. Ditch the hotel breakfast! as there are lots of food options down the street or if you fancy a walk Sunway Putra Mall is about 15mins away. For travellers on a budget and who want comfort, I can definitely recommend it.
