Arrival

I flew in from Johor Bahru. I haven’t been to Penang for a long time. I will be here for 2 nights and my first choice of accommodation would be the DoubleTree by Hilton Penang. It’s located in Batu Ferringhi, just further north of George Town. As you exit Arrival, the bus stop is a walking distance ahead. Rapid Penang Bus 102 will get you here, do note that with traffic and multiple stops, it will take at least 2hrs but is inexpensive at RM4 (cash only). GrabCar estimated RM45 (price may vary).

Checking In

View from the Bus Stop, the bridge will link you to the lobby, perhaps access it after you have check-in as you may need the keycard to unlock the gate

I really enjoyed my breakfast previously in another Doubletree Hilton property and I was really looking forward to and was really excited to see what they offer here!

Thoughts

Room rate was really affordable and I love that the beach is just across the property. Search for “Miami Cafe Beachfront” and you can buy a bottle of beer or even something to eat and enjoy the sunset view
