I’ve been hearing a lot about Phu Quoc Island. There are no direct flights from Singapore, so I might have to have a layover in KUL or SGN depending on the airline. There are plenty of hotels to choose from, but I’m mainly interested in staying at an IHG property.
I’ve got an IHG Confirmable Suite Upgrades Voucher that’s expiring soon. To use it, I have to call IHG Customer Care at least 14 days before check-in, but no later than 24 hours before. To make the most of this trip, I booked a suite for 2 nights, and after applying the voucher, it only cost me USD$150 (refundable rate) per night. The booking also includes an airport shuttle and breakfast
Arrival – Pick Up
The resort offers free roundtrip airport transportation. The reservation team emailed me two days before my arrival, allowing me to reserve a seat on the free shuttle service. The shuttle bus arrived on time, and the journey from the airport to the resort was approximately 32km, taking about 45 minutes.

Thoughts
I had a wonderful stay at this resort. It was the perfect place for me to unwind and relax. Since it’s a bit secluded, I recommend stocking up on snacks upon arrival because there are no convenience stores within walking distance. Also, starting from 5 pm, you can take advantage of the free shuttle to Grand World.
